the problem is you may not know the spring rate after cutting springs and they could be too stiff for the dampers. pogo-stick effect (:

in case no one else noticed... there are now three Ford Racing suspension kits for the Fiesta! search for "Fiesta" on the Ford Racing parts site and check out the list of goodies.
Search - Ford Racing Performance Parts
the previous b-spec kit is now the autocross kit. the new b-spec race kit includes 450 lb/in front springs and 500 lb/in rear springs from Eibach. yowza. you probably won't want to run those on the street for comparison the Bilstein "autocross" kit spring rates are 275 lb/in front and 230 lb/in rear.

Holy tooth shakers E-man! you'd definitely need the tower brace to keep the shocks from touching each other in a hard 90!

Funny thing, I wouldn't even bother with the "autocross kit" for autocross. 450/500 are both around a ride frequency of 2.6hz, right where I am starting off on the z4 at 550/750...

The shocks matter more for ride quality anyway

Does anyone have the tow hook loop kit? DIY? If so, what else had to be done?

We have them. You can just drill thru the front bumper and rail and use a long threaded rod. The same for the back. Sounds easy. It took over 4 hours to drill thru the bumper rail. That's 4 per bumper, and several drill bits. It's made of some metal that's not found on earth.

Very nice. And they are true coilovers, front and rear.

Do they come with weld-on or drill-then-bolt-in brackets to put the rear shock bolt in double shear?
