Everything was slightly shorter. How about that? I didn't measure, I just held it up and eyeballed it. Its half the wheel gap. I don't think there will be much if any compromise on the ride.

LOL not at all what I meant. I mean the rebound and damping rates. Everyone talks about matching shocks with springs but how much of an approvment are these really?

I have a subjective assessment. We push and pulled the stock and FR rear shocks. The stock are very easy to pull even at high rates. The rebound on the FR is much much better - pretty much impossible to pull at high rates, and very stiff at low rates. Compression is also much much higher on the FR, requiring almost all of your body weight to push down on the ground. The stocks can be pushed together between your arms.

The low rate compression in the front is a little too stiff for these springs though. Most bumps below 30mph are left to the tires to figure out. The high rate compression is just right. Highway bumps and bumps in hard cornering are absorbed very well. Rebound in the front is just right as well, not too much to induce understeer but not too little to make the roll rate super high.

Spring rates are "okay", I would like them a little higher like the Eibach pro-kit for a little less total roll but alas it is not a race suspension.

Slightly off topic, would H&R's lowering springs meant for stock suspension fit on the FR suspension?

Thank you, that was the best review I've seen in here thus far. (No offense to any other reviews, I just appreciate the detail)

I'm still very much up in the air. I want something slightly lower than the FR, and from what I heard something a bit stiffer might be nice, but the price is amazing, and I have yet to see any other full setups. (ie: Springs + Shocks)

What I do know, however, is that I'll be taking my time this time around...which is somewhat painstaking when I drive around in what feels like a Bronco.

Why not get the FR suspension and combine it with H&R springs?
