so... I got a Racing Beat MAZDA2 rear sway bar for a today. Guess what? It fits the Fiesta! The bar is clamped on inside the twist beam.

but our rear suspensions are already torsion beams (semi-independent, left and right wheels connected).
how would adding a sway bar change things?

The rear sway bar reduces the amount of twist in the twist beam. My Fiesta is more eager to rotate now. Those bolts aren't going anywhere.
Here's a link to Racing Beat so you can see the sway bar and mounting hardware Mazda 2: Suspension - Sway Bars: Sway Bar - Rear - Mazda 2 -
