Default FRPP Suspension and Ride Quality....

Thinking of putting in the FRPP shock and spring kit (not coil overs)
The price is sure right especially for matched shocks and springs.

I want it mostly for the look (hate that way about the tire thing), and I'll probably go to 205/50R16s when the tires are due...

I am curious, for those of you that have installed the FRPP setup....

How do you feel the ride compares to stock?

FRPP says no change in ride quality.

Is this really true? I would like to think it is, as one of my reasons for selecting
the Fiesta was the quality of the ride in such a small car.

This is not to say would would not mind a little more handling performance which I think just dropping the car a bit might provide, but I certainly do not want it to feel like a track car.

Thanks

Doing the FRPP for the looks is just 1/2 of it, I think the ride is Much more Dampened with the FRPP Suspension. The car just absorbs bumps better now. Much more "German" Like. Zero loss of comfort.

The ONLY down side i noticed... On roads that have rough surfaces, like cobble stone, You get noticeable rumble where before it was nearly silent.

ride quality with the FRPP Fiesta handling pack is excellent. I have not had any passenger complain.

I second that! I'm really happy with it.

Default Body Roll

How does the FRPP handle body roll vs the stock suspension? my last car was a mini, and the fiesta that I have now I love, but was hoping to lose some of the body roll....

Body roll is definitely reduced. Likely not as much as the FRPP coilovers, but a bit better than stock.

I don't remember there being much roll to begin with, but I'm coming from a pickup with 200k dampers wallowing around every corner...

Comment: Price is definitely right, especially through sponsors like Tousley, Team or Steeda)

I want it mostly for the look (hate that way about the tire thing), and I'll probably go to 205/50R16s when the tires are due...
Comment: Lowered enough to be a great all-around, daily driver.

I am curious, for those of you that have installed the FRPP setup....

Comment: Own experience: A lot stiffer. Expansion joints can be a bit of pain as well as colder temps. Run 35-37 psi.

This is not to say would would not mind a little more handling performance which I think just dropping the car a bit might provide, but I certainly do not want it to feel like a track car.
Comment: I think I have the ideal setup--FRPP with 3 Steeda pieces, front strut tower brace, rear swaybar and shock tower brace and 195/50-16 Conti Extreme DWS, pretty much point-and-shoot handling.

Thanks

Nice, what pickup was it? Its not like the fiesta has alot of body roll at all. IDK if you have ever been in a mini, but its like a mario kart. Sounds like an excellent addition. How long have people been driving with it?
