Telero installed the Ford Racing Suspension kit yesterday; it's new springs, struts and shocks. The ride quality is still great over bumps but definitely feels more planted in the corners; less body roll. The install wasn't too bad and took about 5 hours. I'd recommend it.

I asked about the same thing when I first got my Fiesta. I think another overlooked item is not just tires, but tire/rim size. I have 15" rims on my Fiesta. However, when comparing the Fiesta to the SVT Focus I had, I had to remember my Focus had 17" rims with low profile tires. That really decreases sidewall roll, which is another factor in stability. Also, the Focus had 215/45R17's, which gave it a wider contact patch, more grip, etc.
I think the two relatively cheapest mods you could do are: 1) Ford Racing Suspension 2) 17" Rims with the widest Performance tires that will fit on the Fiesta. As far as tires, if it's gonna be a daily driver and see some snow, I'd highly recommend Goodyear Eagle GT's. I had those on the Focus and absolutely loved them. I realize there are probably some summer tires that perform better, but I didn't have money growing out of my ears and had to go with an all season tire. If you get this done before I do, let me know how it rides. Right now, these are the only two mods I plan on doing...well, maybe an exhaust too. ![]() Good luck!

For what you seem to be looking for, I would suggest the Ford Racing handling package and our rear swaybar. Let me know if I can help you!

Telero helped me install the CorkSport rear torsion bar this weekend (listed as for the Mazda 2). It is a noticeable difference in cornering! For $100 it's a great deal and very easy to install (make sure you have a torque wrench). No drilling holes = win.
