Default New Snow!

Oh goody. Chicago is getting its first major snowstorm. I hope I don't get reminded that this car doesn't have the ability to turn the TCS off. My Conti DSW's still have some decent tread.

I'm in western Illinois right now (Quad-Cities) and the roads are now terrible. They shut down one of the bridges connecting Illinois-Iowa because of traffic accidents.
Everyone forgot how to drive in the snow.
However, the Fiesta was a champ on my drive to work this morning.

We've had some but it's been melted off for some days now. There may be 3-5" over the weekend but I hold little hope.

Your SES is an '11 I take it? I made it thru all last Winter with Phantom and never even thought about watning the TCS off. My area is worse than Buffalo many times.

Im in ft Wayne Indiana and we're supposed to have gotten up to 6". There's barely a dusting so far. Howeve the rain the past few days have made an icey hell of the roads.

After driving in anchorage Alaska for 6 years, I laugh at the guys in the ditch with 4x4 trucks. Oh and turn the cruise control off people!!! Lol

Agreed.

Our snow has an ice base also from the rain of yesterday. You have to take the turns slow.

Don't you wish you were in Alaska now?

And yes about the cruise.

Also folks, if you drive a 4WD, please consider the cars that don't have 4 wheel drive and 17" tires and 3000# of weight and sit 6' above the ground. In this weather a little bit of courtesy is a big help.

Speaking of courtesy, giving the next guy the right-away is nice BUT, right -away rules are there for a reason. To prevent confusion. Please if you have the right-away please take it and let me be and I'll get through as traffic allows. And yes I'm ignoring you on purpose as you hold up traffic behind you as you want me to make a left turn in front of you into on coming traffic that I can't see and you don't know about.

we got a good amount in South Bend, Indiana. People were looking at me like I was crazy this morning as I was flying by them. They must not have realized I had Blizzak WS70's! I was tearing it up!

Originally I tried original size photos but they were gigantic! I took them with my iTouch and could not be bothered to resize them. Imgur only provide 3 choices, original, small or large. I could only imagine whay large might have looked like.
