I only used that as an example of the fact that you don't have to be stuck using the one specific tire size Ford suggests for snow tires. The appears to be especially important for Fiesta owners since the suggested size isn't widely available. .

I'll be taking the Fiesta through the mountains of Pennsylvania to Lebanon tomorrow morning with my wife and the dog. The Southern Tier of New York is expecting snow, so I'll see just how well it handles. I assume the roads in both NY and PA. will be well plowed.

Last night we got some snow that was wet and slushy. Slippery for most.
Scary for others, 4wd pickup creeping at 20 mph. The Fiesta on Blizzaks really was the king of the road, all I needed was for these slow pokes to get out of my way. |
