Default L.A. Auto Show Fiesta ST US Debut?

Now I thought that the Fiesta ST was a concept car. But I was looking on the L.A. Auto Show website this morning and saw something a little confusing. The Fiesta ST was not listed as a concept debut.

I guess it could be because it was already debuted. Does this mean a 2013 release for sure?

I'm hoping to see one at the Portland International Auto Show in January!

Here's an overview of the Ford Fiesta ST concept at the 2011 LA Auto Show. This one is of course a five-door and not a three-door version like the one that debuted over in Frankfurt. Still very nice regardless

Here's the link...

i went to the l.a. auto show last night. they had both the fiesta and focus st on display. we weren't able to get into the fiesta st but they had the doors open for the focus.

went inside and sat in the focus st driver seat. its was awesome. the recaro bucket seats felt so sporty but yet so comfortable.

Possible, but the version they displayed at LA is still not a production car. First, the interior isn't done, which is why all the windows are opaque black. Second, the antenna is not in the right spot for the US cars, nor does it have the satellite radio antenna. Third, those are the european wing mirrors, missing the ridges and blind spot mirrors. The ONLY thing they did to make this Americanized was add the rear doors, fatten the rear bumper and add the amber reflectors on the sides of the headlights.

Perhaps we'll see the production version in Detroit, but I'm not holdong my breath. I expect Detroit to showcase the new Fusion/Mondeo only.

It was quite awhile between the first appearance of the Focus ST concept and the production version. I wouldn't expect to see the production Fiesta ST until well into next year sometime.

I thought it was the U.S Production version... At least that's everything I read. Believe I've been following it very closely. I really want to know price, and more specs.

I also want to know if they are going to make the Fiesta ST for real. It would be a such a fun car, and with those headlights, you cannot go wrong.
