I run a k&n filter right now, not the full intake, and I do notice that my car is more peppy when I want it to be, and more efficient when I want it to be than the stock Motorcraft filter.

If that's the case, would using a CARB legal k&n filter with the steeda intake kit make it legal?? I'm so over CA with all it's emission laws. They're not dictating what you can do with your car, only where. I'm guessing that off road it's fine...on the public roads that's a different issue. And I know you pay for the roads as well via taxes, but you also pay for public transit and could take a bus instead

Now that telero has one (and after hearing dirtyblueshirt's in action) I'm actually considering one. Definitely a nice and easy mod. Not that I'm into modding.
