Default Boomerang Armrest for 2012

Here's how Amazon is listing the Boomerang Armrest for the Fiesta: "2011-2012 Ford Fiesta Center Console Armrest by Boomerang." 2012? Is this correct? I've read several comments in several threads expressing the wish that Boomerang made armrests for the 2012. Now Amazon is advertising that they do. Very confusing.

2012 Fiesta has an armrest for the drivers seat only.

No. Pennut has a Boomerang I believe and the width was such that it fills the area between the seats. Therefore the '12 driver armrest will interfere with aBoomerang or vice versa.

Also, it's not really Amazon that is selling the armrest, it's "Optimum Accessories." They probably just don't know any better. And at least the back support bracket would probably install OK...just the actual armrest itself would have interference from the factory one.

Can you please tell me exactly what you mean by this statement? I have a 2012 Fiesta. There is a small armrest on the driver's side door, for my left arm. There is ALSO a small, identical arm rest on the passenger's side door, for the passenger's right arm.

There is no other armrest. I have no idea what you're saying here.

Between the seats and fastened to the drivers seat is an armrest that folds down. If you have a '12 model "S" sedan, it may not have one. However this pic from the Syracuse, NY get together in October will show you ...

The post ... linky

Arrow Unique!

The 2012 S model does not have any arm rests. The 2012 SE, SES, and SEL models all have an attached-to-the-seat drivers' arm rest. The passengers' seat has no arm rest attached. See Cobra's pictures above.

The SE and up models list the seats as "unique cloth bucket seats" while the S only lists "cloth bucket seats" via the print out available from the "build your own" section for the FordMoCo Fiesta site.

I see. Thanks Cobra. I thought perhaps someone swiped my armrest before I even bought the car!

So it appears that for 2012 'S' owners, the only option is to purchase Ford's armrest. I'm certain that eventually others will appear on the market for us poor 'S' owners.

I bet the 2011 Boomerang would fit a 2012 S. The place it connects to is the same in both models of Fiesta.
