Has anyone had a chance to have hands on the cfm and ford racing short throws?
I like the adjustability of te cfm but at around $100 more than the ford racing I just don't know if it's worth the difference. I have heard people complain they don't like how far the shifter is from the driver (and the cfm is supposed to compensate(has an adjustment) for this) but don't think it's a huge issue for me. Just wanted opinions if anyone has them.

I have the Ford Racing short throw shifter and it clunks into gear nicely with the Ford accessories leather aluminum shift knob. It's solid and I don't have an issue reaching it. neither does my 15 year old daughter (: she got her level 1 license and is practicing driving a manual.

I have never had a ford racing short throw shifter but I really like my shifter from CFM. Paired with solid bushings it really makes the shifts very direct while not affecting the smoothness of shifting. If you want to save some money you can order it without the base but I dunno how hard that is to install.
