For you baseball fans out there. This is interesting. What call would you make? You don't need to follow baseball to enjoy this. All you need to be is familiar with the fact that some hitters approach the batters box as a right hander or a left hander depending on the pitcher. The pitcher doesn't usually have the option to switch. Take a look at this minor league game between the Staten Island Yankees (NY Yankee affiliate) and their cross town rivals the Brooklyn Cyclones (NY Mets affiliate). http://www.shoonsports.com/switch-hitter-vs-switch-pitcher-pat-venditte/

Indeed. I don't watch sports, however I'm pretty sure I've seen what you're talking about. Is it the one where the pitcher and batter go back and forth switching stances?
If so, I think the batter gets to pick before he steps in. After the fact I think that's the side he should stay.

this was from a long time ago. first time that it happened so there was no rule on it at the time. the rule now is that the batter picks sides, then the pitcher picks his side. it was certainly an interesting ball game!
