I have tended to avoid the narco pain concealers during my knee and neck issues too. My mom is a RN and has always advised me to take the minimum dosage needed...

Happy Birthday Norm, one of the FF members I find myself often in agreement with! (: I hope you are able to relax and not experience too much pain today. I understand the desire not to take strong medications like Perkoset, I am the same way. Don't let yourself be in agony though!
Hoping for a speedy and complete recovery.
