Now that I have your undivided attention ... A car commercial in our area has cartoon autos repeating commentary allegedly posted on a website the ad is for - including "wide rear", etc.
Also, some folks have remarked that (face it) Fiesta has sort of an ungainly appearance when compared to other makes. So, this and knowing how we are going to inevitably derail the context, I pose this question: In your opinion, what post-WW2 automobile had a backend that "worked" for you? <starts stop watch to 1st derailment>

This was great back in its day, but now it just looks ugly!!
![]() PS...In reference to the Fiesta's rear end looking ungainly is pure nonsense. The only way I can tell if I'm looking at a Fiesta is by the nearly unique front end bezel lights. All the cars look the same in the back end! I swear they all send each other their art copy work and say this is today's design concept. Lets all get aboard. There are very few unique body style designs.

Quote:
It may be ugly but it is certainly iconic. American cars were like sculpture once. The performance aspect was secondary and handling almost non existent compared to the rest of the world.

And one more for good measure:
![]() BTW I love the Terminator, probably my favorite Mustang rear-end of all time... including the late 60s cars.
