Aww shucks.
I was thinking about going to see it, but if it's boring, I'll probably pass.

Don't use my opinion as a guide. I think the rest of the family thought it was pretty good. Remember, I'm an old foggy. To me nothing can compare to the original TV Muppet's show!

My thoughts...not enough of Waldorf and Statler comments. Jack Black is not my generation and I don't really know who he is. If in fact they could've gotten former Pres. Jimmy Carter that would've been awesome. But who of the younger generation know who he is? The story line has too many human parts. Not enough plot for the most common Muppet characters. All the characters are seen at least once. If they had cast Alex Baldwin as the "bad" guy that would have been great.

With a 10 year old, I see a lot of kids movies. This one has sparked zero interest in my child and I am glad as I see nothing about it I care for.

This movie was pretty MEH. I guess it was a fun kids movie but most of the movie feels so forced and there are only patches of humor in this movie. Many of the songs feel really forced or awkward. (when Chris Cooper broke out into a really cheesy rap song i knew the film was headed south) The entire film felt like a Thursday night sitcom promo. Don't get me wrong there are some touching moments and some really funny bits (the song man or muppet was particularly pleasing) and it's a good homage to the Muppet Show, but overall this movie was only OK.

Am I the only one that actually enjoyed the movie? The entire time the movie was fully acknowledging it was one big gag reel, which I actually enjoyed. Plus it literally had more cameos in one movie than anything else I've seen.

And for those that have seen it.... DRUUUUUMS!!!!!!!!!

No I saw it ~1 week ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the songs were hilarious (especially Am I A Muppet Or A Man) and I thought Jason Segel did a great job writing it with regards to striking a nice balance between the singing/dancing and comedy aspects of the movie.
