We got our first snowfall last night and it's pretty outside since I'm not sick of the snow yet. Snapped some pics with my very dirty car:

Several years ago I was stationed here with good friend of mine who was from Michigan. His wife, also from Michigan, hated this area because of no snow, hot humid summers, no seasons, etc. She made him get out of the regular Navy and join the reserves. He was promptly transferred to Willow Grove PA in January. She was ecstatic.

As they got to PA it started to snow. At one point their truck, loaded up with their personal belongings and son, skidded over a bank. They were there for a few months and she evicted the renters from their house here then moved back to Jacksonville. She left her husband up there to fend for himself.

I grew up in the land of ice and snow (WV) and I've lived where that stuff is very rare. Florida is better than the ice and snow, at least for me.
