It's no secret that Congress recently passed the ugliest bill to ever involve the Internet. This bill, among other things, allows corporations to force ISPs and hosting providers to block the URLs to ANY website that a corporation deems to either be hosting, or support hosting of illegal downloads, without any proof necessary. This basically makes the site owner guilty until proven innocent.
Sign this petition now and tell President Obama that we will not stand for this internet censorship and blatant corporate abuse of our civil liberties! https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petition...ation/g3W1BscR

It can affect any word, image or file posted on the internet. Many free porn sites republish copyrighted images from studios or pay sites. So yes, free porn WILL be affected.

FYI, in addition to the usual (Comcast/NBCUniversal, News Corp, etc) and unusual (L'Oreal, Pfizer) suspects; GoDaddy, the web hosting provider, also supports SOPA. I would hope anyone using their services sends them a message by switching providers immediately. I use DreamHost for example. They're a locally owned company right in the heart of Orange County, California.

What the fu, is the point of this bill? To prop up giant corporations that can't maneuver their business model to account for a free market? I thought they were protected by copyright laws already?! I wish I could sign it...

I freedom to access free stuff. Porn or otherwise. I'm also a fan of parody web series like "Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged" and "DBZ Abridged," and reviewers like ThatGuyWithTheGlasses and Spoony which would be devastated by this sort of legislation.

For you, Capt. Gigglesworth: Avaaz - Save the Internet!
Tidbit: strongest Senate voice against SOPA: Senator Wyden, my Senator from Oregon. It's nice when you can see your vote in action.
