Arrow Taxes due April 17th

How and when do you do your taxes:

Tax time. Do you do them early or wait till 11:00PM on the last day?

And do you do your own?

My tax preparer always makes me a meal when she does my taxes. Thanks Mom!

I always do my taxes as soon as I get all my tax info since I always get a nice refund.

I always do mine immediately, using TurboTax. It's always really irritating seeing a nice federal return and then realizing I owe a crap ton of money to the State of Iowa, since I live there but don't work there. Le sigh.

If a complicated year - use a professional. Most years - use TurboTax. My goal is to balance the fine line of not getting a refund nor get a penalty for underpayment. If I accidently get a refund, I file as soon as possible. If I have to pay, I wait until the last minute.

I thought the Occupy movement was about ending perceived government helping the rich at the expense of the "99%".

It's a bunch of retarded people who need to get back to work and quit b*tching. I love that pic of the cop that went viral pepper spraying one of those idiots in a casual fashion.

Like Drinkman. I'll do the tax form ASAP but will defer filing depending if I get a refund or owe.

I have used TaxACT since 1998 and I think its the best around. As far as I know they never have had a mistake (recall) like others have had (they all have updates).

I always threaten to take my tax return to a pro. Then I gather all my information and sort it out and decide that the big work was just completed and I can fill in the blanks as well as a pro can. I have made stupid arithmetic errors in both directions and the IRS has always sent me an additional refund or a payment due notice.

The ideal situation is to owe the government a small amount each year. Say about $100 would be ideal. But like most people I prefer to see a refund.
