I've ordered a couple of wireless doorbell kits (my Friend needs one as well)
It's such a simple solution, the Patient or sender, can wear the button(wireless) and the recipient (Me) hears it on the receiver, and only $10.00 delivered.
One purchaser uses one to let his dog signal him to go out.

I'll keep you posted jut incase you know someone else with the same minimum needs.

The only problem with this set up is distance. I have tried several wireless doorbells and distance and interior walls can limited the range of the transmitter and receiver.

If the distance is an issue like Norm was suggesting, maybe this would work:
#1 Lost Key Finder & Remote Control Locator
It says it has a 300 ft. range (outdoors at least).

That would be too bad, I'll soon be able to tell if they'll work, they've arrived at package express.
I like your (US) postal service , I get an item in days not months like our Postal service. I paid $9.70 for a 4"x6" padded envelope mailed about 25 miles they told me at that CHEAP RATE it shoukd be there in about 7 days?????

I also hope the one's you got use the 12 volt battery as opposed to the disc/coin type batteries. I used both and the disc batteries do not last very long.

The advertising with the ad said you can press the buzzer 20 times a day for either 200 days or a year, not quite sure on the time, but like I said Advertising.
I'll go down to Sumas in a day or two and pick it up, have a Mexican lunch at El Nopal and a Pint of Bud, 1/2 paid for with the savings in gas if I need a full tank, lifes good!

I've tried the wireless doorbell in my home and it works well, it would be a good basic system.
A better one and still very reasonable is this one if you know anyone that needs one.
