Well that's me. I ordered June 1st, and did not pre-order -- just a dealer walk-in. Dealer was still claiming that we were on schedule for delivery the week of June 12th (this week). That is, up until this hurricane/train thing came up. Now it may depend on whether the car had crossed the border before the storm hit or not. It's all in the timing, you know. I will be real curious to see how my order & delivery gets through the system compared with all the early pre-orders.

I ordered mine March 22 and I still don't have it. First it was to be delivered June 21 and then today. It's still on a rail car in Illinois. If people who ordered theres in June are in fact getting theirs, Ford can take my Fiesta and well lets just say keep it. I'm serious!

I received another email from Matt today saying that there will be a two to three week delay due to the hurricane. I don't know if he means two or three weeks from two months ago, or two or three weeks from today. Again, he says they don't have access to any information and to contact the dealer. The dealer still says there is no rail car number or ship date showing on my visibility report yet.

My dealer, who has been absolutely wonderful about putting up with my frustrations, was finally able to pry some information from Ford, but it is not good news. My Fiesta is still at the factory, and is estimated to ship in 7 weeks.

I'm speechless. That's horrible. Did he say "7 weeks" or did he give you a date? Because "7 weeks" doesn't sound like something you'd see in a computer database.

I can only imagine what that means for the rest of us.

Got a call from my salesman today and he said that my car is in transit and ETA is 8/4/2010. My previos ETA was 6/14/2010 I just hope this one is true because the first payment to my Credit Union is due 8/1/2010 so I guess I do get to pay for it before driving it for the first time.

...my Fiesta was dropped off at the dealer sometime last night I took delivery of it this afternoon.

Geez, it's hard to keep to the speed limit!
