For some reason I have always liked cars with 2 doors on the side. It took me a long time to come around to convincing myself that I will be happy with the 5 door hatchback. I am curious how many other people here would have ordered a 2/3 door Fiesta of they had been available from the get go.

I've always owned two door cars from the time I could drive and I've owned two ZX3s and a three door SVT.
I'm 6'6" and the longer doors and extra legroom are a HUGE plus for me. Besides the fact that I like the way they look more. |

My previous car had 2 doors. It definitely looked sportier and I loved it when I was in college, but one of the things I was really looking forward to with my new car was having actual doors to access the backseat. If the sedan was only offered as a two-door, I wouldn't have bought it.

I was definitely psyched for the 3-door Fiesta, but I think I may have talked myself into getting the 5-door. It's not as sporty, but it's still the same Fiesta

I'd say the 3-door is the best-looking Fiesta, but the 5-door is barely any less attractive and I prefer having the extra 2 doors even if I don't use them often.
That being said I think Ford should offer a 3-door hatch and make it the price leader in S trim, maybe with a $12,995 starting price?

The three-door is my second favorite behind the sedan but it would only tempt me if offered as a price-leader. The Verve sedan concept is what got me interested in Fiesta, and it would take something special to get me into a hatch.
I wouldn't ever want to see Fiesta as a two-door sedan after seeing that hot-mess known as the Focus coupe (sorry if any Focus coupe owners see this, but I just can't stand its proportions). |

If they would have offered a 3 door hatch then I would be waiting for it to arrive but I don't think I will be disappointed with the 5 door. If Ford does bring the 3 door out later then I guess I will just have to trade in and get one especially if it is more of a performance model.
