I went from a Red 99' Mustang GT, to a Blue 2011 Ford Fiesta SE. I agree with one of the previous comments in that it was sort of a "growing up car" for me. My Mustang had 180,000+ miles on it and not only that, I knew it was time to move from 17 MPG to 37 MPG!

I went from a 2006 Hummer H3 Adventure Package w/"33 tires and rear locking differential that I wheeled in Moab and here in Colorado. I kinda miss it at times but love my Fiesta way too much!

I stepped down from an '08 Subaru STI. I think I miss the horses more than the room, but they were really thirsty horses and I don't miss that at all.

Not sure I stepped down so much since I didn't get rid of a car to get the Fiesta. However, I still get the "why'd ya get such a small car" comments though. They don't seem to get that it's just my commuter car and that it's perfect for that.

My large car is a Prius. I'm not safe if the edges sheet metal gets too far away from me. I'm still getting used to the short hood compared to the Civic.

KITT is my first car so I couldn't downsize. But I'm from Europe and all my european friends (and myself) were impressed how big the Fiesta is

Had a 97' Pontiac Grand Prix which I believe was classified as a mid-size. There are still times when I'll pull into a parking space and find myself 5 feet from the curb
