Default How many people....

....Have downsized from a larger car to the Fiesta and got the "why did you buy such a small car?" comment from a co-worker, friend, relative, etc.?

I went from a 2006 Dodge Magnum to the Fiesta.

Before taking delivery last July of my 2011 Fiesta I had driven a 2001 Cadillac Deville for 7 years. No regrets with my Fiesta!!!

My parents complain about how small our Prius is when it has the same interior volume as their Milan.

I'm prime for this question. I traded in my Grande Marque for this Fiesta. I still own a GMC Safari van. Talk about going from one extreme to the other. Which car do I like best. Believe it or not the one I'm happen to be driving. The Marque is an "oldman's" car. It drove smooth, silent and everyone else got out of my way. Never a problem with seating room.

My van (I owned 4 of this model)...I will not give it up any any circumstances. Since its no longer made I don't know what I'm going to do when I must put it down. I'll most likely go into withdrawal. I have never had to rent a truck or ask a friend to help move anything. It has gone through 5 college kids moving back and forth to & from dorms. Moved 4 complete house holds several times (including pianos). Proved to be an ambulance type vehicle with a bed when I was incapacitated. GM please bring it back.

The Fiesta...Its a blast to drive. Always fun even for an old man! Nothing more to say!

My trade was on the same platform as yours.

And yes I've gotten that comment since everyone I know loved my 300. They weren't paying for the gas or license plate fees though.

Dodge Neon was somewhat larger - but not by much!

My neighbor has an '09 Avenger and he's asking me all sorts of questions on the Fiesta. I wonder if he's gonna switch?

Neon handled like a tank compared to Fiesta. But I went Ford due to Chrysler still having their noses in the air about getting economical, Ford not taking Fed bailout cash, Fiesta mileage and cost.

And most of all ... it makes me smile when I gas up ... even at $4.00 a gallon.

Going from a chevy suburban, a jeep liberty and a Toyota 4 runner... To a fiesta!! I will miss the size but I sure won't miss the lack of "sportiness" or the 10-15 mpgs!! I'm literally replacing my monthly gas budget with a car payment!!

No, the usual comment I get is, "Why did you get such a grown up car?"
I guess after driving a Camaro for the last eight or so years, a lime green hatchback is "grown up."
