Those who have the STS, anyone have the CFM STS? Those who do have did you buy the $149 without base and bushings? how hard is it to actually swap that? Really can't be that difficult right?

I like the CFM STS better than the steeda/ford racing one...
The CFM STS isn't that hard to install but it was a pain trying to find some good instructions on installing it. I went ahead and got it with the base so I don't know how hard it is to install but the bushings are very easy to replace. After I replaced the bushings and the shifter it was little bit harsh for a while but after it broke in it's been a lot better than the stock shifter and it really can take some abuse

I'd got for the STS only because the radio kit for the Fiesta looks like absolute crap.

I AGREE completely! That's one of the big reasons I'm not sure what I want to do... Why the metra guys insist there isn't room for a double din just doesn't make since to me... When I pulled the dash apart there is more than enough room for a double din... which gives a million more options for better radios than single din.

I'm leaning towards the STS, just seems like more fun and I know I will appriciate it as the radio is decent as it (just that it's am/fm only ugh)

I think the premium 6spk stereo sounds quite good. (yes, it can always be better, but for a car in this price range is quite good)

I though about one of those eBay ones.

However adding a cd player or sat radio isn't what I'm looking for. Actually rarely used the cd or DVD in my last few cars. However the nav is nice and the pre-outs are super important.

My cube would move your hair, not like wind tunnel but would make it move. Was bad *** to crank. That's what the fiesta would become if I modify the stereo.
