Anybody?
No matter what I do I end up making a nasty mess that ends up being fog city the next day. What do you use to not suck at windows? I feel shame that homeless people do a much better job.

I never tried it but newspaper and vinegar supposedly works best.

I use 2 clean microfiber towels or sometimes shop towels. Spray the window and wipe with 1 towel (expect streaks). Then I'll follow up with the 2nd until the glass feels smooth again. You can feel when the glass stops "grabbing" your towel. Don't forget to constantly flip your drying towel to a dry section.

Another vote for windex and newspapers. The black and white pages.
I actually spritz on the windex fairly heavily and work on that with paper towels. When that has dried, I spritz on some windex very sparingly and then use crumpled newspaper to wipe the windows completely dry. Seems to work pretty good. Of course, to do the whole windshield, it might help to be double jointed... Jon |

newspaper works surprisingly well and the 'clean' holds up for quite some time.
and it only takes a little bit of cleaner on the paper I thinks it the carbon in the newsprint as my camera lenspen has carbon in the cleaning tip and works amazingly well. |
