I generally wash my Fiesta by hand 95% of the time. The other 5% I take it to a carwash when I'm too lazy to do it myself

And make sure to wipedown all the door edges and jams, on the frame side and the door side... Does the car no good when the outside is clean but its nasty on the door edges. Frequent cleaning keeps the grime from sticking and prevents car cancer!

omg i go to the car wash on wednesday only (ladies day - woohoo for a discount for having boobies!) and it's $5 for a exterior only (does include the undercarriage). if i do the interior also (which includes armor all on the wheels, it's a package so whatever) it's close to $20. if i could get a $3.50 car wash i would be there weekly!
Audrey and Sterno like this.

Still using salt on the roads around here, too.

I'd like to think if I had somewhere to hand wash my car, I would...but I know that truthfully I would not.

Yep, salt and sand is what they use here too. The only place they use a liquid deicer and other chemicals is on bridge decks.

Always hand wash. The last time I was in a carwash was when I took my parents '72 Impala in. It cost $1.

I'm really to cheap to pay money to wash a car that just gets dirty again. I washed my Fiesta twice this year, or was it once?
