    Default "BIUE"

I just got the OEM Polytec FOHA armrest form Ford. My buddie
at Ford is going to install. I saw the "boomerang" model but
decided on this one since it comes from Ford.
I have the 2011 SE hatchbck in "blue". I love the car. Wife wants
an armrest and storage in the center. I just joined this sight and
I read about these two products. I hope mine works well also.

    Thumbs up

Welcome to Fiesta Faction! I've riden/driven a Fiesta with the Boomerang armrest and it is alright. I don't know about the one you have, but I've not read any real negative reviews about armrests added that I can recall.

    Default Biue - armrest problem

I thought after reading the several posts here that I would
try the install myself. I have the Ford Poly armrest. I got as far
as trying to put the metal mounting plate on and there is NOT
any bolt to remove or place to attach the front bolt. I have the automatic
trans and I don't see where any wires need to be removed. I do
see where the removed side screws and slots are disposed and
replaced with the kit bolts. I also can see where you need to
drill the back of the console to insert the rear bolts but I
was having a difficult time squeazing the metal plate into alignment
    so I stopped there.
Has anyone encountered this or is it just the Poly install lacks
proper info? Any feed back or help is greatly appreciated...

    Default Biue- armrest installed

My buddy @ Ford "mechancic" and I got it done! We shaved a little plastic
to put in the mounting plate and aligned the dril holes and mounted
the Poly armrest. Looks good and is more comfortable to drive.
