Default The little extras, the easter eggs of the Fiesta. Tips and tricks

I don't recall seeing this (or my search-fu is lacking) so I thought we could get a list going of the things that aren't so obvious:

Turn signals:
Can be set to blink three times with one soft-tap of the stalk (vs moving the stalk till it clicks and holds)

Wipers:
If the front wipers are on the rear wiper will turn on when you put the car in reverse. Also:

When I was driving they made a pass every 2 or 3 seconds.
There's an amazing amount of engineering in these cars!

Steering:
I noticed on passing a truck that the car barely moved. According to the manual the system does a little bit of steering for you to compensate for any slight, non-driver induced drifts.

Door/Trunk locks:
As you know pressing the trunk release twice quickly will release the trunk. Then closing the trunk will lock everything automatically without needing to press any remote buttons (so make sure to hold onto the key lol).

If you have the push button start you cannot lock the FOB in the hatch area... it knows and keeps popping the hatch open...

If the hatch is not properly closed and you lock the car it beeps twice to let you know something is wrong.

I love the auto rear wiper feature... like the car is saying, "Don't worry, I've got this"

Elastic strap on top of the glovebox to hold manual and brochures that came in the zipup container with auto. keeps things out of the way.

Glovebox has holder for stick-type pen on left side as you open it. Handy for a pencil or stick pen if you write data on gas receipts for tracking.

Drivers visor has a diagonal strap for holding small amount of papers or things up out of the way. I've found it handy for a couple bill payment envelopes as I head to the post office.

a light pull on the high-beam stalk (like you were turning on high beams) as you exit car give about 30-second delay where headlights are on. Similar to 3-blink signal and about same pressure needed. Good for night exits of car.

The Stability Control is AMAZING for a little car. I hated passing trucks in my old Escort. It would wobble in a breeze! (I had the alignment done annually.) So it's been very nice to be in a car that is stands its ground versus the toughest foes.

I didn't know that one, that is a nifty thing to remember.
