Default Delivery in 4 months.

I have a scheduled delivery for the end of May. I can't wait to drive off with it.

I purchased a 2012 SES Hatchback. Violet Grey. Sports Appearance Package.

The first thing I am going to do is take it to a body shop to get the windows tinted. Then purchase some flat black rims and summer tires for it.

I am thinking I might also smoke out the tail lights, because they're so loudly red looking.

When I decided to get my fieata the car was on a truck headed to my dealer. That 5 day wait seemed like forever!!! I couldn't imagine waiting 4 months. Your stronger willed than I am. LOL

I actually have been making payments on this car since September, and I will have it almost completely paid off when I pick it up.

But waiting for me is not an option since I am in Afghanistan. So the car will be waiting for me at the dealership for me to pick up when I get home.

Welcome! I considered ordering one since none of the local dealers had the exact package I wanted. In truth Ford doesn't even offer the exact package I wanted (5 spd hatch SE w/16" rims). So I settled for a Red Candy hatch with moonroof, Sports Appearance Package, premium sound and SYNC.

I'll never use SYNC, OK, fine I admit I used it once by accident (stalk on the steering wheel?). This lady kept asking me what I wanted to do and would not accept "Shut Up!" as a reply. All I wanted was the radio back. Finally I decided to give her the silent treatment. That worked (eventually). Women!

Waiting is brutal. I'm a very laid back person in real life and don't get excited about much, but getting a new vehicle is the one thing that gets me like a giddy school girl. I look forward to seeing that color with some tint and wheels.

Well that makes since now. Always swore I was going to buy a Harley while on orders overseas and never did.

Get home safe!

Oh, I'll be sure to take photos ASAP and post on here. Because I also will be like a giddy school girl with my new car. Taking photos of it like I am getting paid to do so.

As a person who was a giddy school girl, I can confirm that getting your Fiesta is exactly like that: So. Much. Awesome!

The Violet Grey is not my favorite color (I have a 2011 Monterey Grey myself). However, the tinting will look nice and so will the darkened tail lights. Telero has the Monterey Grey with tink and the darkened tail lights and it looks really nice. You might consider plasti-dipping the wheels as a cheap alternative.

Also, Welcome to Fiesta Faction. Are in with the Armed Forces (US or Allied?) or a civilian in Afghanistan? Just curious. (: Have a look around the different Forum Sections; there's a place for everything here!

I also had an issue when renting a ford Focus. It would always tell me, "Say a command" after I turned off the car and was about to exit it. I normally applied with, "Go away."
