![]() Thank you GapboyPCS. FocalJet seems to have so many forums, it will take some getting used too.

Love that platinum white Titanium. Our dealer has a similar one in stock, but it's a sedan. The Focus sedan and hatch both look amazing.

My wife is getting 30.5 mpg - mostly commuting to work.

My car is still "breaking in". It went from 14.3 MPG when I left the dealer lot to 23.8 MPG just today after an odometer reading of 130 miles. The needle of my fuel gauge has actually responded much like the Fiesta did at around the same position after driving over 100 miles, so it's looking great so far. Ironically, when I left the lot it went from 306 Distance to E to 268 miles today. Both cars are supposed to have similar fuel tank capacities, so we'll see how it goes.

Don't see why Ford made the turn signal indicators on the side view mirrors part of the winter package on the Focus and only available on the Fiesta SES. Should be standard on all models as a safety feature. The Scion XD for example came with them standard.
I'm gettting about 30+ mpg on my commutes also. I think it's the winter blend gas. I was getting 32-33 this fall. I've seen 35 mpg hwy, but haven't had the chance to take any sustained long hwy drives yet. I don't think I'll have any problems hitting the 37 mpg hwy EPA and then some. Not as good as my Fiesta was, but still a heck of a lot better than my Dodge Magnum was. I was getting 25-26 mpg hwy on my roadtrips with the 3.5L V6.

I recently did a fuel up of my new car on Saturday. On just the first tank of gas, I drove 373 miles and got 10.8 gallons out of it, so I got around 34.3 mpg. Obviously less than what I was used too on the Fiesta but still great considering my car is just breaking in with whatever grade of fuel the dealership used to fill it up. I have driven about 200 miles so far and my needle is still in-between 1/2 to 3/4 full so I'm really impressed with what I'm getting so far. I have to say, I can really appreciate the extra power the FoFo brings but I do miss the better premium sound system of the FoFi. Other than that, I am very happy with this car.
So, when I went to the dealership to pick up my plates for my new car, there she was, my FoFi shimmering in its beautiful blue flame basking in the Valentine's Day sunlight on the used car lot of McCombs Ford West facing IH 410. My FoFi was unmistakable because I know how I placed the keyless entry keypad on the front door. I hope its new owner can take care of the car like I did when it was in my possession.

Yes, I'm a bit late to this party, but.... Just seems to me, the OP simply didn't do his/her due diligence and got a car smaller than his/her needs required. It's not the Fiesta's fault. I LOVE MY FIESTA!
