Hello all. I am new here and new to Fiesta's.
I have a 2015 Fiesta SE that SYNC is stuck on Line-In mode. I cannot get it to play audio through my phone via Bluetooth. I can answer, talk, and hear phone calls just fine, but can't play anything like YouTube or anything else via SYNC. Radio works fine also.

I have tried disconnecting the battery for a few days and the system went right back to Line-In mode as soon as I started it up. There is nothing plugged into the headphone jack in the car. The USB Port only has a USB charging cable plugged in for my phone to charge, but I have disconnected it and started the car and still says Line-In.

I have a 2013 Ford Escape that I can connect my phone to just fine via SYNC/Bluetooth and play YouTube, etc. perfectly on it, so I know it's not my phone.

I do IT for a living, so I am not technically challenged or anything like that.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I took some more time during my lunch break to mess with it and found simply that I did not select Bluetooth as the input option. And now I feel like a dummy. :D
I'm not used to Ford Sync. This Fiesta and my 2013 Escape are the newest vehicles I own. The rest are older Mustangs, a Ranger, and an F150. :)

Anyway, it is resolved and I'm happy about that.

I'm glad you solved the problem, but I'm also glad that you posted the solution to your problem. There are many who, after solving their problems, only come back later with the solutions to solve them!

Mine always defaults to Line In no matter what. I've long since memorized the sequence of menu selections I have to make to get it to Bluetooth. Sometimes though it will, for whatever reason, start on "Play Menu" that messes things up. Other times it will show the songs/info for my phone, other times not, always using Bluetooth, always using the same app to play music. This version of SYNC is odd and has some quirks, but I'm glad you figured it out!
