Hello Everyone,
I just purchased a 2017 Fiesta SE Hatchback to replace my 2011 Focus that was totaled.

So far I like the car but the engine noise is a little higher pitched than the focus and that makes it more noticeable to me.

I was wondering what I could do to mitigate that noise. I've used dynamat (actually, noico, a less expensive product) in my old car's doors to improve the sound of the speakers, and that worked wonders, but this time my goal would be to reduce noise from the engine. Is there anything I can do short of turning up my stereo?

I will be upgrading the speakers in the future, and possibly adding a subwoofer, but for now I am just brainstorming.

Thanks in advance.
