COLOGNE, Germany, January 12, 2010 – Fiesta, Ford... See More’s top selling small car, has reached a production milestone. Since production of the latest generation Fiesta began in Cologne-Niehl in August 2008, half a million units have rolled off the line.

This tid bit is for BRGT350, Ford should have delivered to you Bryan!!
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, the milestone vehicle, a Frozen White 3-door Fiesta with a 1.6 litre petrol engine (88 kW/120 PS) destined for a customer in the UK, was produced.

No other Ford vehicle from Cologne has ever reached the half million mark in just 17 months of production.

Every day, the Ford Niehl plant, which employs some 4,300 employees from over 50 countries, produces 1,885 Fiestas and Fusions in a flexible mix. In 2009, a total of 406,106 vehicles left the plant, among them 350,470 Fiestas and 55,696 Fusions. 80 per cent of all vehicles are exported.

Sales of the new Ford Fiesta in Germany started on October 11, 2008, after production had begun on August 14, 2008, with an official Job 1 ceremony.
