This, over and over. If you want an ST, make the financial moves you have to make to get an ST. They are not all that rare. If you want to hop up your 1.0, go for it (i am!). Just do it knowing that it is not, nor will it ever be, an ST.with enough time and money anything is possible. The cost of doing a ST engine/gearbox swap isn't worth it. If you want a ST, it is best to buy one. If you want to tweak the suspension of your 1.0L Fiesta to be more ST-like, then the easiest would be to buy a set of ST springs/dampers from a ST owner that has upgraded. Keep the 1.0L twist beam and add an aftermarket sway bar. Trying to swap over a plethora of ST parts will quickly get expensive and you will be knocking on the door of used ST prices really quick. Remember that when it is time to sell your 1.0L, the more stuff you have done to it will make it harder to sell. You narrow your market with modified cars. The more extensive the modifications, the smaller the market to sell it, and you will never get close to what you put into the car.
