Car salesmen

I found this little YouTube sales pitch by a salesman that knows what he is selling. Or at least he's a really good actor! But in any case, with all the dealer ripping going on around here, I thought it would be nice to show that some salesmen and dealers are really trying.;)

outlaw! he should have removed the radar detector from the windshield.
There are dealerships out there that care about the customer and not want to shove them into something they can not afford. Just with the riff-raff of what happened in Canada and the Ebay scandals really put a bad name on those that are good. Best dealerships in my opinion are the ones where the sales staff are salary based. Meaning they're going to listen to you.
This one is my favorite of course... I found myself not paying attention to the car on occasion. :D

I bought my first Saturn (1 of 3) after walking out of Ford dealership (that is thankfully no longer in business) in disgust. I was going to buy a Probe but got a SC instead. Saturn retailers had a No Hassle No Haggle policy for sales consultants. the Ford dealer I'm working with now is cool. they had a Mountune Fiesta on display a while back which got my attention :D
I haven't dealt with thankfully but my parents have with a couple nasty Ford Dealerships. Ended up going to another Ford Dealership to buy the car they wanted.
Sadly, not all the dealer videos worked out as well as the other two posted here:

My local dealer just emailed me:
Recently you inquired about a vehicle. If you are still interested in the 2011 Ford Fiesta, we have two arriving on June 7th!.
Eeee!

LOL. Wow. Yeah, definitely a Focus under that tarp. That's...pretty insulting.

Pleasing to the eye!
But did she say it's got LED tail lights?!

She thought she'd forgot something. Yep: the class exclusive 7 airbags!

I thought she looked trashy/greasy and her pastel pink finger nails were annoying. She probably sells a lot of cars though. She knew all of the talking points (except airbags) very well it seemed. :) Knowing about the car is more important than looks to me, and she came across as knowledgeable.

The poor audio and the background noise was driving me crazy! You're right though, the scenery was nice.;)

she also said it has 16 inch premium painted aluminum tires  and 15 inch steel tires are standard.
I like when the camera woman says "we'll have to just edit that part out" :D
Here's another salesperson who has memorized the Ford dealer training (aka Creepy Jim):

Today my husband and I stopped at a different local Ford dealership than we had ordered from. The salesman there said that hatchbacks would not be available till later in the year as all the plant is currently manufacturing is the sedan style! I laughed and my dear hubby gave me the whole don't you dare start a argument just walk away glare. Silly sales person.

I know that look, LOL. :) Silly salesmen being all uninformed. He'll get a happy surprise when they arrive "early" for him, hehe.
I'd doubt he is really "that" uniformed. My guess is that his dealership has simply ordered only sedans so that load of crap story is what he wants you to believe.

With regards to selling at a typical US dealership nothing much has changed for many years. The dealer will always try to have you BUY what they have ALREADY ON THE LOT, since it costs them quite a bit of money to keep stock sitting on the lot. You ask for something that isn't right on that lot you will likely hear the sales creep say or do anything to make you believe that unless it is on their lot you can't get it. Period.

Don't believe the nonsense, for most larger makes you can order ANY model and combination of options you want AS LONG AS IT IS ON THE FACTORY'S OFFICIAL ORDER GUIDE. Sure you may have to put down a small refundable deposit (always make sure you get it in writing (on a formal dealership order form) that if you decide to not follow through with the deal you get your money back.

You may have to wait a couple of months for a very specific order but you CAN get it just the way you want it. If that dealer says no, tell them you're going to a store that puts the customer's needs first.

What car? :D:D:D
Nice run-through of the car. I wonder why it was so noisy in the dealership.
Anyway, I've been debating colors trying to decide between blue, charcoal, or silver, but lime squeeze is really starting to grow on me.

Edit: She mentioned there's a center storage console available, but I couldn't find any info on it.
