Charcoal interior no longer available?

It wasn't that long ago, you could build your SE with charcoal interior on the fordvehicles.com website. Well, not now. Also, every SE hatchback that dealers are receiving in my area come with the light stone interior.

I'm interested in hearing if anyone else was able to get charcoal instead of light stone.

My Blue SE hatch arrived with charcoal cloth seats ,no blue accents. I did not have any expectation of what I ordered being what I would get. I told the salesman to ok whatever version of grey, black or black with blue trim would be buildable. I did not want a build delay because of trim color issues.
Maybe I should have a dealer handle the interior stuff if they are able to get charcoal.
I looked at the Build and Price website just now and noted that the black cloth option is not available. But leather is available in black and when you click on it, you wind up with the SES version but it is still listed as an SE. Also, the $395 Super Fuel Economy package has a picture of a white Fiesta with both front and side ground effects (like the 3D Carbon set-up)--that doesn't seem right to me either.

Maybe you're onto something here, possibly the website builder is acting funny right now. I hope so, because I really want charcoal!
The Build and Price feature for the Fiesta on ford's website has been full of bugs since it launched. I would not be surprised if not being able to order charcoal as your cloth interior choice is just a glitch.

The inconsistencies on the Ford Fiesta build site and stats pages are truly annoying!
What's interesting is that you can go to any of the Ford sites in Western Europe
like Startseite Ford-Werke GmbH | Ford Deutschland or Ford UK - The Official Homepage of Ford UK and there is absolutely no problem configuring a Fiesta and these cars have seemingly endless combinations of options unlike our cars here.

Again this all seems down to a marketing issue. Or the marketing company handling the situation.
And yet we've lost so many choices over the years. Way back I had an 82 EXP - don't laugh, a fun and versatile little car, just a maintenance money pit. It was a beautiful medium blue metallic with a (gasp!!) light blue interior. And now I can have pretty much any interior color on the Fiesta I'll likely order, so long as it's black... oops, I mean "Charcoal". I posted on Ford's Idea web site that I'd pay $1000 just to get true color inside a car, and I would!!!!
Hey, I had an EXP back in 82
. It was what I would now call a conventional two-seater (silver with a black interior).

Wow, a kindred spirit. Don't know why I loved that little car, perhaps because it was so homely it needed to be loved. Once I caught a guy about to cut up and throw away a 70 Cougar, so he gave me an hour to grab what I could. I threw both doors - those who know the 69 Cougar / Mustang windows will understand - the deck lid and interior panels in the EXP, closed the hatch and took them home.

But maybe it's a Wisconsin thing... I was born in Oconomowoc and raised in Pewaukee until I was 9.
As far as I can tell, it depends on the seat color bolster you choose and certain car colors are limited in that too.

Can't edit last post. Anyway, looks like to get anything other then the charcoal interior, you'd have to order the seats with light stone bolster or inserts.
I ordered charcoal with blue. It better come with it. I've had colorless interiors (gray) for the last 25 years, it's time for a change.

Actually from what I've seen the Fiesta has more choices for interior colors than most low priced cars. My Matrix had a choice of grey or gray.

Going way back, my 65 Corvair had 19 paint color choices and like 6 or 7 interior colors. White, black, light blue, dark blue, red, gray, green. Mine is black. I'm half done relacing my Corvairs seat covers as we speak. 45 years after it was made I can still get exact interiors. I think i got off topic here.

Waiting and waiting for my Fiesta.
Ordered March.
Off the train and hopefully on it's way.

Yep, the good old days. In this case, if I want an SES with the goodies and the Yellow Blaze, I'll have to get charcoal - I don't care for leather. It's a shame You can't get light stone, it sure would brighten up the cabin.

That was one of the factors for taking the SE instead of the SES, just to get the lighter interior.
