Yeah. I’d love to be able to get the cams. I’m holding off a bit until I get the nitrous system in.

150 max. Probably 100-125 to be safe. And it’ll be a wet shot.

so you're essentially wanting to double the output of yours. I'm curious, what are you going to do to pull timing and what are you going to do for extra fuel.

125-150 is max safe for wet system. 75 for a dry shot. ECU will be able to compensate timing up to that. I usually run the fuel solenoid fatter by one or two jet sizes in carbed apps. Lean is mean, but fat is safe.

125-150 is usually what I recommend for v8's (i come from the smallblock world) on 4 cyls i recommended widening ring gap slightly to prevent any accidental touches. Also have you thought of a step colder on your plugs as well? Whats the safe limit for the factory fuel as well? jight wanna upgrade to a 255

Brisk plugs are what I’ll run. Pump upgrade will be in there too.

I've always ran AEM. youll need it welded before you cat. so I'd recommend getting a header if you dont have to pass a sniff test

How do you like it? I'm tossing up grabbing one to fix the leak I have at my flex pipe. You have to drop the subframe to install?

No problems after 3ish years. If you have a lift, it’ll go in from the bottom once you find the magic angle. I did cut the stock manicat in half to get that out.

thats not too bad. whenni go to do mine ill just drop the subframe down some and it should fish tight into place. Are there studs to guide the headers on/off? I honestly haven't looked

If I remember correctly, there is a single threaded stud on each end of the head.

Back in the late 80s/early 90s, I did the car audio thing. Had a dropped 68 Bug with 4 Fosgate Pro 18s and 4 Fosgate Power 1000s. At 2ohms, those amps put out close to 2500rms each.

I kept spare headlights in stock lol

I use to own a older power 1000 mosfet, sold it to a collector though. thing was a tank.

I'm also sitting on two alpine 3566's for the right project to put them into

My dad worked at Stroh’s canning plant and the rolled aluminum sheets were on 21” diameter cardboard rolls. I capped each end off with 1” particle board after I cut them down to fit. Probably too much air space, but the Pro 18s did very well. I could empty a full 44oz Slushee cup sitting a foot in front of the Bug lol
