If so, what do you own and why did you choose it?

How do you think the Fiesta will compare to what you already drive?

I own a 2007 Honda Fit Sport 5-Speed. I bought it because it was the best b-segment car on sale in the U.S. at the time.

I'm fully expecting the Fiesta to better it in almost every category, and plan on getting one the second they go on sale.

My brother owned a 2007 Honda Fit, blue... but... this is what happened to it...

So Ron, if you ever tango with a semi you know you'll survive! :D

Btw, your car looks sexay!

Yes, I drive a 2005 MINI Cooper S. I absolutely loved these cars since they made the new ones. The design, size, and quickness/handling all go together to make this the most fun car I've ever driven.

I'm very interested in the Fiesta in general, but probably won't be looking to actually buy one for a few years. I do expect it to be somewhat similar to the Cooper stock vs. stock. I still prefer the interior of the new MINI to the Fiesta based only on pictures, but that's no slight against the Fiesta! I really think the Fiesta seems to be light years ahead of the other competition like the Fit, Versa, and Yaris. So hopefully Ford has a big hit on its hands here.

Wow! Those crumple zones sure did there work. Glad your brother was ok

I have a 2002 MINI Cooper with about 112000 or so miles on it. I don't think I've had quite an interest in a Ford product since the Focus way back in 98-99.

By the Time the Fiesta comes out I should be ready for something else :D :D
I think that Mini's are the bomb, I originally wanted one before I got my Focus. But they were a little to expensive for my budget. :( Even the used ones where, and I wasn't going to settling for a regular Mini either. heheh, that didn't stop me from testing out a $28K Mini S Turbo when they first came out :D

My brother walked away from that without a scratch. I think a bruise from the seat belt, but that was it. He was very blessed when it happened.

You mean supercharged... hence Mini Cooper S

Well to get technical the S never stood for supercharged (even though the '02-'06 cars are). Any Cooper S (except the convertible) from '07 on is a turbo and an S. Officially, the "S" doesn't stand for anything. I think the story goes that back in the day John Cooper and Alec Issigonis couldn't agree on Special or Super/Sport so they just called it the Cooper S.

No but my wife owned one of these 20 years ago and is looking for somethiing similar. I'm hoping the Fiesta can come close. It's an Isuzu I-Mark RS with Lotus tuned suspension and a 1.6 dohc 4 with a 7,800 redline. Fun little car.

as of now...no I was thinking the Aveo 5 door or the accent but since seeing the Fiesta on Top Gear here in the States I really cannot wait!
I have a MK1 Fiesta, but not road worthy yet. I owned a 2003 Mini Cooper S from November 25, 2002 to September 8, 2005. Great car, fun car, but they did have quirks. The dash layout was fun when new, but at some point you want a proper (modern) dash layout. Seats-fantastic! I had the two tone leather blue and black, plus seats accomodate someone up to 6'7" so I had an inch to spare. All that molding around the wheel wells rocker panels, too much. Would have preferred molding to be painted. Only 1 dealer in Michigan and it was 35 miles away and no loaner cars given, makes things difficult when it's a daily driver. The Mini made me spend money. I had to have a clear bra, different tail lights, stubby antenna, Union Jack mirror covers and valve stem caps, gear shift boot and shifter to match seats, 2 sets of floor mats, glove box organizer, package tray saddle bag, 3 sets of wheels, steel skid plate, changed the grill twice. Ford needed Mini to pave the way for quality small cars, for that, thank you Mini. Even if I were interested in a new Mini I couldn't get it (same model and equipment that I had), they priced me out of the market.

Never owned a B-Segment car but hope to with a Fiesta. A Fiesta Hatch would serve my needs more than a Focus Sedan.
Ni,I don't have won any B-Segment car.
But,In my opinion,Maruti Swift is the best b-segment car in India.Swift is an exciting subcompact that deliver style, space, fun and fuel efficiency without the compromise. :)
