I stopped by after work and took some pictures of the fiestas. There are currently 2 others on the lot... a magenta SES fully loaded and a black sedan. I was a little worried that maybe they had been wrong about mine showing up but after asking I located it in a service department bay getting inspected and cleaned up. I asked a service mechanic if I could go back and look at it and he said go for it.

Took delivery of Fiesta today. UPS was late on delivering the leather metallic shift knob at the dealer so that is getting installed tmmrw. I have to say the wait was worth it and the Fiesta is awesome and a thrill to drive. There were two other Fiestas in the dealer lot - a black and silver. My dealer will be getting more, but I guess there have been a lot of people coming in asking if the Fiestas are in stock.

Dealer also took a pic of me and my car and sending it to the my fiesta website or something. Fiesta owners will have their pic taken. No usb mp3 player but I don't care, I just wanted to get out of there and drive the car.

Congrats and I'm happy your delivery went better than mine! I'm just hoping I get mine fixed soon. I'm still undecided what to do about it... but part of me just wants it especially after hearing how much everyone loves theirs.

Thanks. Hopefully your dealer can give you some kind of compensation, wether it be discount or accessories for the trouble you have to wait while your Fiesta is getting fixed.

Yeah we'll see. I could always pick up the magenta one on their lot and we could have twin fiestas (well almost)! Too bad my heart is set on the blue... and MY car... I know a similarly spec'd car should suffice but after all the wait and troubles I really just want to stand by my little fiesta... let's hope she's a fighter!

According to information TeamFord got, the USBs are actually coded for each VIN, so you'll get yours later on, I'm sure. It's meant to go with your car.

Oh cool thanks for the info. It seems like a lot of things are new for the dealer. Yeah when I was driving the Fiesta with the internet sales manager, I noticed that none of the metallic package was installed from factory. It's dealer installed. The door sill plates were in but the shift knob came in after I got home. They were both shipped separately from the car.

My mistake. I guess I could have figured that out by reading your signature. Sure looks magenta though, especially the way the light reflects off that side mirror.

Yeah, it goes the other way too. I've mistaken the magenta for red on some pictures.

That's partly what I love about it - it's downright pink on the roof lines in that photo Bramos09 posted. I think it's the metallic coat - it's more dynamic than the flat green, magenta, and silver colors. Tuxedo black is really prismatic up close, too.
