Found this on a Mexican forum. We don't get to see the SE too often.

Here's a translation:

I went to last week induction course and took the Fiesta sedan equipped, is the model already in production and as such we will be selling for the month of June that the launch.

The sedan will be 2 versions one Fiesta S that would be the "basic" model and the SE would be the best equipped, both in variants with 5-speed manual transmission or automatic dual-clutch 6-speed, Hatchback for now we will have SES only one version but will be even more equipped than the sedan.

Greetings, I hope you like the pictures.

The black LED housings look bad with the silver color, especially considering the chrome grille.

If they're black the LEDs don't go in 'em. Matt W. (reservation consultant) says they need to be in the chrome housings for reflectivity.

well then the black inserts where the LEDs would be look out of place.

The black inserts would make it easier to perform a fog lamp retrofit.

Now that I think about it I wonder if this won't be the single most popular Fiesta derivative...it seems to hit all the middle-of-the-road bases (apart from having the manual trans): silver, SE, sedan...

Silver tends to be one of the most popular colors for cars.

This does not have the Sport Appearance package, and as such, does not have the led driving lamps. The black insert comes out, and the fog lamps are installed. As opposed to having two different bumbers, (one with holes for the LED lights, one without) make one bumber with an opening for the LEDs.

If it doesn't get the LEDs, insert a small plastic insert to fill the hole.

Streamlines the production process, and keep costs down. Only one mold to make.

WOW that Fiesta is hot!!! That body kit really does wonders for an already great car. Would love to know what improvements that kit brings to the Fiesta that is blisteringly fast in stock condition!I can't wait to test drive it.... :)

What body kit are you talking about? The Fiesta sedan in the picture is a base model sedan with no body kit. The 3D Carbon kit is for the hatchback only, and is not pictured in this thread.

Jazzdog, what I'd heard was that they originally proposed having the black bezels with the LEDs on the SE and then just recently switched to chrome for all models.

But maybe they've changed their minds again. I'm willing to believe you since you have in-factory photos.

BTW, I can't believe you have in-factory photos. PLEASE POST MORE! :D

Who knows what they're thinking when it comes to this car. As much as I hate to say this Chrome is the smarter choice for the LEDs.

The most current info I have is that all LED DRL cars come with a chrome housing and not black. No car from the factory will have black housings and the LED DRL's. There was talk in January about making a black housing with LED's available from the Ford Accessories catalog. I don't entirely buy the deal with the housings needing to be chrome for the lights to shine properly, since the Taurus and Edge have the same LED strip and don't use chrome housings around them.

WTH?! Its hard to argue with that picture. It is kind of frustrating when one thing is said and another is seen. Is that a US bound car? Since it is a pilot build, how close is everything to actual production? Are those cars being made with leftover pre-production black bezels?

I wish I could get some actual info concerning what my car will look like so I can plan accordingly. At one time all hatches were going to have the black LED housings, and the sedan the chrome. There is also strong rumors of a blackout edition that has all the chrome replaced with black. Some days I wish I would have waited a year to buy a Fiesta, and other days I think about canceling my order and picking up a GT/CS instead. I get worn out with all the changes and speculation of what my car will actually be. The online build site changes all the time, the dealer has no idea what is going on, pictures of cars on the assembly line show stuff that I was told could not be. The body kit goes from unpainted, to some colors painted, to quotes of getting it painted that cost more than the kit. Job 1 is 2 weeks away, and I still don't have any idea what I am actually getting built, if it even gets built. I wish I could just buy my European Fiesta since I know that it is one of the best car I have ever driven. I have been driving a Fiesta for a year, and I would have thought I would have a good idea about the car I am planning on buying this summer. As time goes, I seem to know less and less about the Fiesta. I am going to be on a steady diet of Zanax until my car arrives and I can actually see it and drive it.
