Wonder if the American interior will have the Euro materials, the China materials or something different entirely.

Wonder if the American interior will have the Euro materials, the China materials or something different entirely.

Materials look the same to me. I think what may throw you off a bit is the bright two tone interior with that ivory color. It gives the interior a very different appearance compared to all the darker interior Fiesta pics we've seen. The graining on the dash looks exactly like the 2 Euro Fiesta's I test drove recently. I was reading that same review over the weekend. The sedan looks okay to me. It's something you probably appreciate more seeing it in person. At this point I prefer the 5 door hatchback. It's funny how every review of the new Fiesta no matter where in the world is the same. Everybody absolutely loves it.

That plastic looks different than the EU spec Fiesta Movement cars. The headlight switch, and stalk have more gloss and less texture. Also the dash seems to reflect light, which the EU soft dash doesn't to that extent. Look over my interior review pics here Interior Detail - a set on Flickr and tell me if you agree. Something just looks different. If this was Ford in 2005, I would say we would get the China plastic, Ford today, we may get the EU materials. My guess is that the US car will be someplace in between.

it's a nice car but i'm more of a hatch guy personally. but i'd drive that if i had to. and it's nice to see ford building a car that the entire world market is liking
