I think it would be pretty good idea if as many Fiesta Movement winners could share their cars mileage with us by signing up at www.Fuelly.com . I'm in no way associated with the site but its a great way of keeping track of your mileage and sharing it with people here on the jet or anywhere else.

It would also help future Fiesta owners to get an idea of what real world mileage the car will get here in the US when its finally launched.

As an example here is a Fuelly badge for my MINI Cooper S with all its up to date statistics:

Please Post you Fuelly Fiesta Badge in this thread and we'll keep a running list of Fiesta agent badges...

Here is Fiestavus's Fuelly Badge:

As a note, my initial MPG was skewed by a lot of hard mountain driving. I was doing much closer to 40 mpg prior to the first fill-up. I am looking to drive fairly hard for May and then hypermile in June to see the full spectrum of MPG. Spoke with Ron Delong from Linear Logic and we will be using a Scan Gauge II to dial the hypermiling in.

Thats an awesome site, do they have an iPhone app for their site?
They have a web app which you can bookmark and add to your homescreen as an icon.

Go to http://m.fuelly.com/ and then bookmark it to your Homescreen as below:

When you're ready to add a fuel up you get the entry screen directly:

Simple as that!

When you do MPG, make sure you figure it out by hand, the trip computer uses Imperial Gallons, not US Gallons. Just FYI.
This is a very good point and one that I have been meaning to post. My computer is typically about 8 or so high. Another quirk is that the speedo is about 5 mph high. This has been confirmed by my ScanGaugeII and one of Nebraska's finest.

I just went over 8500 miles today and should be well over 10K by the end of the week. I will have a 10K review for you guys some time next week.

Wait a minute. Are you sure? How does one go about confirming that it's Imperial and not US gal? True my speedo appears to be about 5 MPH higher than what my gps indicates, but I'm not sure if the GPS is off or the car. Is Ford allowed to sell a car in t he US that reads in Imperial Gal? Inquiring minds want to know.

You're reading an old post that was about the imported Fiestas.

Ok, Thanks for the info. I was thinking I was going nuts.

I signed up for the Fuelly thing. Looks interesting.
Our speedometers do read fast though. I verified with my GPS that the speedometer on my car reads about 6% fast. A few years ago a friendly officer of the law, who didn't write me a ticket, verified that my GPS is very accurate.:D
