If anything there's a very strong chance and indicator that during the Superbowl of NASCAR Ford will have a booth set up and showing off their cars. I got to see the new Chevy Volt up close and personal while in Georgia for the Night Race at the start of Sept. So hopefully that the Fiesta will be on display and I can get up close and personal with it taking lots of good fresh pictures.

That would be a great time to meet up and shoot photos, I believe I'll be there for the shoot out as well. I'll let you know once I have full confirmation.

If you come to the shootout let me know I will be parked in the infield in turns 3 and 4 as close as possible to the bathroom building. We usually have like 15 to 20 people in the group that I go with.

Went to shootout yesterday and there was no Ford display. Chevy and Toyota were both there in a strong way. I don't know if Ford is just waiting for next week in hopes of bigger crowds. I don't think that I would have passed on any chance to get my vehicles, both current and upcoming models, in front of as many potential customers as possible at a location such as Daytona speedway. The people that I took with me spent time looking at the Chevy display and show cars and said that if they had the money they would like to have a Camaro like the one that was on display. So even though they aren't in the market for a new car at this time the display still planted that seed of desire for a new car.

When I was at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the two night races in Sept. Chevy had a full vehicle display including the Volt which was nice to see. Ford had a couple SVT Raptors and a Stang that was it. Nothing of real interest to me, Toyota had a couple models as well. Was the Volt there? I am wanting to get some pics of it this time as well, but I'll be there probably on Wednesday or Thursday since I'm leaving tomorrow. The weather here is going to turn nasty real quick. I'll post a full detail when I get back if there was a Fiesta, though from what I'm understanding there won't be much of a crowd turn out this year at all to either big race over the weekend. We've been given discounted pit passes for Sat and Sunday if I remember right, we were moved to the front stretch for Saturday, and given a discount on our Sunday tickets as well.

I didn't see a Volt there but I wasn't really paying close attention to either Chevy or Toyota dispalys other than the race show cars. I think Thursday race will be pretty packed but the truck race on friday and the Nationwide race on Saturday never really sell out. I imagine the upgrades you got on the tickets was so that the front straight stands are full for TV cameras. and if they have a strong walkup crowd they will sell backstraight seats. Have fun at the race and hope Ford shows up for at least the 500 both on and off the track.

I'll be heading to the Daytona 500 - update

Great news gang, got in today and the Fiesta Movement will be there. They were setting up the display as we drove by. I could see a silver hatch so I'm assuming since it was a fast glance that it could possibly be the NA model. Hopefully either tomorrow or Friday I'll get pics.
