I have a knocking noise when I go over bumps in the road. It coming from the passenger side rear only. Its not loud but noticable.
I have a Ford Fiesta 2016 reg. 1.0 eco boost.
My car is only 4 years old so I do not believe it to be ball joints or bushes to be worn out already ?

Any ideas appreciated.

May want to check the wheel bearings and rear shock. I had a rear wheel bearing go bad at about 110,000 miles and my car was only 3 years old at the time.

30,000 miles? My guess would be a wheel bearing. I read fairly often where rear wheel bearings are the culprit.

I paid 80USD for parts and labor, but I’d been using that shop for a few years.

PROBLEM SOLVED.
Went to garage today. Its was rear coil springs. I replaced both of them. £145 UK pounds.

What was the problem with them?

One was worn out and the other one was on its way. So changed them both for balance of the car that was recomended to me by the garage.
I still feel with the car 3 years and 10 months old a bit of a surpize to be worn out after 30,000 miles :unsure:

I agree. That’s actually unusual. I replaced my suspension with a Ford Performance set at 140,000 miles.
