Exhaust flex pipe is busted. Trying not to replace the whole damn cat assembly. Can a new one just be welded on? Also will a ST Exhaust fit a 1.0?

I don’t know how a 1.0 looks vs 1.6 but sadly will needs to drop whole assy then maybe possibly have a shop weld . Price out new exhaust manifold too might be cheaper then you think vs fixing . If flex is shot converter maybe on its way out to P420 code
I did my 1.6 wasn’t impossible .
