Scrap, trade, give away, or just abandon it. The 6 speed power shift automatic transmission is the worse thing Ford has ever made. It's not just the control module. You will never stop having issues with it. Lot of recalls on it, as well.
Non-TCM tranmission repair - is it worth it?
I have a 2011 Fiesta and I love it! But the tranmission is basically shot and I need to replace a bunch of actuators in it. The dealer wants almost $3k for this. Is it time to move on or should I sink my money into it? My friends all say to scrap it since the transmission will supposedly die again, but I already got the TCM replaced. Any thoughts?
