You know I'm really liking this color more and more. Maybe I shouldn't of gotten the Grey.

Mine is going to be magenta and I do like the color, but calling it "Bright Magenta" is a little misleading. Have you seen how the color looks in the dealer brochures? Now THAT is bright! (maybe a little too bright though....)

The color changes dramatically based on lighting. On a bright summer day, it looks different than in the shade or a cloudy day. Different interior lighting makes it look more pink as well. When shined up, the Magenta is an awesome color. I was very happy with it on the EU car.
I wish ford stuck with the colour names they had come up with in pre-production such as: Hurricane blue(Blue flame) and Ultra violet(Bright magenta) they all sounded much cooler than the names they have now.

I saw a grey the other day - it was beautiful especially when the sunlight hit it - it's loaded with sparkle!
Hopefully anyone that pre-ordered this color got to see it in person. I thought it'd be kinda burgandy, because all the pics I see looks that way, but finally got to see one in person and it's....kinda pink. It was on my one of three color list when I thought it was burgandy..ish, but right when I saw it in person, it was eliminated.
Magenta with Light Stone interior.
Nice combination. More pictures of the interior please.:)

Thanks :) I'll take some new pics next weekend, in the meantime I have just one more on my computer to share.
Was going to be a lime squeeze owner but guess I'm a Magenta owner now! :)

is this just not a poupular color? i found it pretty nice and unique. all the colors are nice but i want a color thats different from everyday color. im tring to decide between lime squeeze, bright magenta and the yellow. im kinda leaning twords the magenta though. its nice and more and more ppl are getting the green so i like being different. am i one of the only few who like the color?
I think the Magenta is a great color! But I've only seen 1 at a dealership so far (and there are 5 Ford dealers in the Harrisburg area that I pass fairly regularly). It seems to me like dealers are stocking the 'safer' colors that they know will sell; the black, silver, blue, red and are playing by ear on the more unique colors like Lime Squeeze, Bright Magenta and Yellow Blaze.

We have a surprising amount of folks on the boards here (and in the Mid-Atlantic region in general) who have gotten Yellow Blaze Fiesta's. I say go for your first choice (it's what I did). If you want the Magenta first and foremost, go find a dealer that will order it for you. You'll happiest if you don't settle for only what they have on the lot :)
I saw my first Magenta Fiesta at the San Francisco Int'l Auto Show this weekend and loved it. It was a tough choice for me deciding between Magenta and Yellow Blaze but I had always wanted a yellow car and this was the first car I've purchased that was available in yellow so I went for it.

Interstingly, I hung around the Fiesta display for a while and it didn't attract the crowds I was expecting. The majority of the folks looking were baby boomers.

I've seen it too, at least in my area of PA and by my parents in mid-state NY, brightly colored cars are a BIG draw for the older crowd. There are at least 4 other yellow Focus in the Hershey area and all are driven by women +60 years of age. The wife and I like to eat at a little cafe here in town that attracts an older crowd as well, and I always have folks commenting how they love the color my two cars. Apparently all mid-20 to 30 folks in this state drive bland neutral colored cars.
I never could find one at a dealer but we wanted the lite stone interior and you could only get it in the black, magenta, and maybe grey, so we took a chance and ordered the magenta. We really like it, its amazing how much the color changes in different light. It took about 6 weeks to get here last week.
