My Monterey Grey is coming next week and I am SO EXCITED to see this color in person (along with the rest of the car) I can hardly contain myself!

I'm so excited for you!!! I know what it was like when I saw the color in person for the first time, Love at first sight!

Trust me ... the Grey is awesome. At night with low lighting it might get mistaken for black, but in any decent light it'll be obviously a gorgeous grey.

Closest I have seen is the grey that Mercury Milans have as a selection. If you've seen one of them it's very close. Also, dirt doesn't show very much on it at all.

<nods> Having fun, are we? The words "road run!!" are getting to be commonplace now with the economy so far.

I wonder how this beast will handle in the snow/ice of Winter? I have the Kumho Solus KH25 tires and I can't seem to locate any performance data for them on Tirerack.com or other sites. Anyone reading this is welcome to point me to data!!

I'll tell you how the OEM Kumho Solus tires fare when we get snow. I plan on trying them out initially, altho will most likely end up with an aggressive tread all-weather Goodyear (Eagle LS, perhaps Triple Tred). We get snowfall measured in feet around here.

The Kumhos were rated pretty poorly on TireRack for snow performance. The Continental ExtremeContact DWS handled pretty well in the inch or so that we got a couple weeks ago. Their dry and wet performance is phenomenal!

SNOW!?!? hahahahahahahheheheheheh. Oh pardon me, I have to turn my a/c off since its down to about 75 outside, so I'll just open the windowns for a nice breeze. Think I'll go crack a brew and sit out on the deck listening to the palm trees rustle. hehe. I'm sooo bad.

No gators round here!
