Paddle shifters for U.S. Fiesta?

I know the upper trim level (standard on the automatic Sport model) Honda Fit has the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. These have always seemed sort of gimmicky to me for some reason. Maybe I'm wrong here. I hope that the 2011 U.S. Fiesta does not get these paddle shifters for the 6 speed automatic. It certainly makes the steering wheel appear way too cluttered especially since there are already some buttons on it.
