Patience. Shipping is not a totally "linear" process. I do not believe Ford is holding back or holding out. Fiesta's will be shipped north by rail. Then, distributed by convoy. So, most everyone will get their cars at about the same time. I would guess that buyers in the Southwestern states will see theirs at the very earliest, and that would be by a few days( less than five) at most. I am looking forward to my cars arrival! The girls in my office are all anxious to drive and sit in it. Even my 70 year old mother is looking forward to it. The style and features draw people to it like a magnet.

My serial number is 90XX and was built on 5/27. Is this possible? Also I ran into my retired Ford salesperson, and he said figure on three weeks for delivery from Mexico to Minnesota once shipped. I'll be way over my trade in cars mileage by mid July, and my dealer will renegociate (spelling?) my trade in price. I'm not going any lower. I ordered my Fiesta on March 22. Any goodwill Ford had with me on the internet reservation process is long gone.

I'm sure Ford has an incentive to ship them out as fast as they can once they are sure about the quality. The sooner they are delivered and/or sold, the sooner they get their money. Financing all that inventory can be very expensive.

Not to mention all the extra promotion that real people will show their friends and co workers who might just be looking for a car just like the Fiesta and somehow didn't know that it existed or what it is like or has too offer.
